今年、福岡海星女子学院高等学校は創立60周年を迎えました。12月7日の記念式典では、校長が学校のルーツについて話をし、ハンセン病患者の看病のために初めて来日したマリアの宣教者フランシスコ修道会について、シスター入江が話しました。記念講演では、熊本でこうのとりのゆりかごの設立に尽力した田尻由貴子先生にご講話いただきました。 生徒たちにとって、本校のルーツについて詳しく学ぶ特別な機会となりました。 以下、KBC　NEWSのテレビ放映リンクです。

On December the 7^th, Fukuoka Kaisei Girls’ High School celebrated its 60^th Anniversary Foundation Day. To begin, students had a special ceremony where the school Principal spoke about the school roots and Sister Irie spoke about the beginnings of the sisters coming to Japan by Leprosy.

Students then had the special opportunity to listen to Tajiri Sensei, who helped to found the baby hatch in Kumamoto. It was a really special chance for students to learn about the founding. Below is the link for the broadcast.
